Where Is My OBD2 Port?

On almost all vehicles the OBD2 port is within reach of the driver’s seat. The most common positions are:

• Underneath the dashboard, just above the pedals
• Near the steering column, on the underside of the dash
• Behind a small cover or trim panel in the driver’s footwell
• Occasionally inside or near the fuse box cover

Look for a trapezoid-shaped socket with 16 pins. Your vehicle handbook will show the exact location for your model.
